Not what it once was, but don't let that stop you..Though overrun with oiky tourists these days, Bodrum is shrouded in history, and there is much to see along those lines..
Bodrum Castle is impressive..
I feel it’s lost some of it’s splendour over the past few years, and though there are Gulets galore, i recommend Bodrum for the young at heart..
The nightlife is cracking.. laser show at the Halicarnassus Nightclub was an unforgettable experience..
For those of you not interested in that kind of thing, it is more than possible to get lost in the Turkish way of life here, but you’ll have to tuck yourself away from what has become an extremely popular destination.
Try other more remote, undiscovered parts first. :)
